Hi guys! Here's another poem I thought I'd share. Enjoy!

Carpe Diem

Is this a dream I’m
Clinging to so I can get by?
Nothing’s as it seems.
What is truth and what is lie?

It takes too long to sift through
What I see and what I’m told.
I haven’t got a clue.
What does all this mean to you?
This struggle makes me feel so old.

Carpe diem, seize the day.
We’re slowly rotting away.
Carpe diem, life’s too short.
I can’t keep letting all my dreams get thwarts.

I have no idea what to do.
Seventy years isn’t all that long.
I can’t keep falling through;
But failure seems to be my song.

Sometimes I want to last forever,
But such wishes are deceiving.
Human nature’s oh-so-clever,
Ending up my hopes to sever,
But I still end up believing.

Carpe diem, seize the day.
I feel most alive when I enter the fray.
Carpe diem, I let out a shout.
I don’t even know what I’m yelling about.

I just want to sit down and cry,
Because it’s hard enough to get by.
But at least I have some hope to cling to,
And (as of right now) nothing to rue.

Is this life all there is?
Maybe there’s something beyond.
Perhaps I’ll enter the new world in bliss,
And leave this one with a kiss,
From the lips of an eternity fond.

It has been a while since I have read something buy you and I have to say that I missed it. This is really good and o think you should do more of these because I like it.

I liked the 6th section the most when it talks about jumping in the fray, loved it.
