I just got Metroid: Zero mission, and it is a really fun game, but after I get the first missile pack, I have to fight a giant one eyed worm. For some reason, I can not shoot my missiles upwards to hit the eye. I think this might be a bug. Could anybody please help? Thank you.

I can aim upwards just fine, but Samus refuses to shoot the missiles upwards. I can fire regular shoots though. Thank you.
