Hello,

To change your profile picture, you must first become a normal member. To become a normal member, you have to make 10 posts and be on the site for a full 7 days. So you become a member on the 8th day from when you joined.

After that, click on the "Edit Profile & Settings" link on the top left hand corner. There will be an option to change your user picture there.
