Why hello there.

(I've never posted on a forum in my life and have no idea how to start it, hence the strange introduction)

I've been trying to find how to change the controls on N64 games, and all posts have the same answer of double clicking the game box and changing the controls from that menu. When i double click, nothing happens. I've tried this in both Chrome and Firefox but alas, the mysterious menu eludes me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

You might be using the mupen emulator which doesn't support double clicking screen meaning you need to use a controller, but if you look to the right of where you open the mupen one you will see the other emulator it can be opened in use that one and you double click the screen.

sammywoose : You're most likely using the plugin 'Mupen64plus', The double click menu doesn't work on that one. If you look at the right side of the page, You'll see a play button that uses 1964, an alternate emulator which supports the double click menu.

Hope this helps

EDIT:never mind, poke ninja'd me lolz

Thanks for the help guys. My laptop seems to hate 1964 with a passion but it's probably worth me buying a controller anyway because I can see myself spending a lot of time on this website. But thank you anyway

Since question has been answered, I'll go ahead and close this.

It is quite a shame that Mupen doesn't support custom controls. In my experience, it works better for me than the 1964 one.
