What is TMJ?

My nephew was said to have it by doc, but I just think he had ear ache,

so they misdiagnosed him? or not?

really bad blocked ear feeling, but doc said ear looked fine from outside.

I reckon it is the eustacean tube.

I have TMJ... It sucks. My jaw locks when I lay down, and it feels all weird when I'm eating. It also hurts if I keep it in a certain position for too long.
