The Philadelphia 76ers has a 25 game losing streak and may beat the record in 3-4 more games.

The record is just so close.

I have never seen so many posts by a person who isn't posting about anything.  If you don't know and or don't care, don't post.  It's bothersome and a waste of time for other people.

I think the Sixers beat the Knicks tonight because New York is horrendous.  Philadelphia will have to win that game because they'll get crushed on the three game road swing to Chicago, San Antonio, and Houston.  After that, they get the Pistons at home and that has to be a winnable game by a team that's tanking for a lottery pick.

I don't care for the "losses in a row" thing.  It happens sometimes but it's okay.  These Sixers started out pretty good and were winning games.  They are going to end up at the bottom of the basement.

warmaker: To be honest, New York isn't really bad. They have like a 6 game winning streak or something. And they also got Phil Jackson, the new GMish person for the Knicks. I would be sure in my opinion the Knicks would crush them. I know they were terrible at the start of the season, but they are improving, in my opinion. We'll see how it goes.

The record is only 26 losses, so the Sixers can easily match and beat that sometime next week. I know it's a bad record, but it's a record nontheless, congratulations......

To get on topic though...

The 76ers are laughably terrible. Full on tank mode.

I thought they could beat the Knicks though, because as bad as the 76ers have been, the Knicks I'm surprised, aren't doing worse. If you told me one of the two was on a massive losing streak, I'd assume it was the Knicks.

However, the Knicks won. By one point.

And then they lost to the Bulls (which was less surprising, as the Bulls are one of the best teams in the East) again.

The losing streak is at 24. If the record is 26 losses, they will likely break it. In the next three games, they get to play a game in Houston and then a game in San Antonio. Both of those teams are likely to crush the 76ers, unless something tragic happens.

The one hope left for the 76ers is that they can beat the Pistons. Luckily it's a home game, so their odds of winning go up. Both are lousy teams.

Thing is, one of these teams could be historically lousy.

No matter what happens, this is one of the saddest stretches in NBA history.

legacyme3 : One of the shortest stretches of losing streaks, yeah. The Pistons aren't really considered as a "very" bad team though. Josh Smith is playing tough, anything could happen. I'd be surprised if the 76ers won though.
I mean, 26 losses is a lot for me.
