I watch Netflix more often than Hulu. It has a more wide collection of movies and TV shows. I mean, I have Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Prime Instant Video. They're all on this thing called Roku. It's pretty nice to switch between all three.

This is no contest for me, it's netflix! I have seen some of Hulu but really didn't like it. Netflix is a great service with many movies and shows. I love it.

Most of the time, I use Netflix. If Netflix doesn't have a show that I want to watch, then I search Hulu to see if it does. Usually, Hulu has something that Netflix does not have. Also, Hulu has newer episodes of shows I like, while Netflix is usually behind one or two seasons.

Hulu also has a couple of my favorite animes, and Netflix currently does not have hardly any animes at all. For example, I like to watch InuYasha and Claymore a lot and Hulu has both of them, while Netflix does not. I can't really choose between these two because they have equal pros and cons.

Hulu is good for the newer stuff, while Netflix is good for more of the original stuff.

I prefer Netflix over Hulu because Netflix has a much larger variety of both movies and TV Shows. Hulu used to be nice whenever they had most of the seasons for the shows I was watching at the time (about 6 years ago) for FREE. Now you have to pay to be able to watch pretty much anything on Hulu, and there is a much smaller selection to choose from when it comes to the TV episodes they have available. The only thing Hulu has over Netflix is that you can stay recent on some TV shows as long as you haven't missed more than 6 episodes. That being said, with Netflix you can start a lot of shows at Season 1 and watch up until the season before the newest.

Sorry if I rambled on too much. I just wanted to give some pros and cons to each.

Since I'm more into movies I go for Netflix. For very recent shows it's always possible to stream them from the channel's website. And thanks to ad blocks it should be easy to go around the annoying ads.

Also the original content like House of Cards make it much more worthwhile.
