Not really, I am in high school now and honestly I think a relationship in middle school is rather childish and dumb since it probably won't last more than 5 seconds and it will be full of drama. I think at the very least, high school is a better time to start dating. Even still, I haven't done so since most of the girls (not all) are too stuck up and rude, and I just haven't met the right person, but later down the road, I am sure I will. 

Middle school is an awkward stage because you are facing drama, and puberty and it can be strange, and there is also a mix of other things that make it that way as well. So I don't really see serious relationship fitting anywhere in the midst of all that.

Sorry to ruin it for all of the romantics out there, but another person cannot "complete" you, and expecting them to is asking more than anyone could do. It only results in bad endings in my opinion.
