FF7 pearl materia real or not?

When I was younger I always played FF7, FF8, and FF9. While I was playing FF7 my cousin explained to me a way to acquire the pearl materia. He told me that the pearl materia held the magic Holy in it, and that it was also the special materia that Aerith's mother gave to her 
(you watch her drop it into the water when she dies). I think he told me this as to see if I would take the time to actually try to get it. I was just wondering if anyone has accomplished this or if its another rumor type deal.

Well the Holy is "counter" spell from Meteor.. When you have finished the game you will see what to Holy does, but you can't get it to yourself because it is some kind of Ultimate Magic to protect the planet when a great crisis is upon it. Or something like that. Bugenhagen explains this better when you are in the Forgotten Capital with him.

Fairly sure there is no way to get this "Pearl" materia.  I have played and beaten FF7 many times in my youth, and unfortunately this is one of those rumor type things.  If you look at any of the guides for FF7 at GameFAQs, you'll find that not one of them lists a "Pearl" materia as being attainable in-game.
