Yes you can play GB, GBC & GBA as well as SNES & NES on a psp.

my psp model is 2001 i believe and i downloaded a thing call psp tools and put it in the game folder tryed to run it and it still sais its corrupted i tryed running a custem firmware and nuthin

The only way to do that is with a Pandora Battery.
You can either make one or buy one. If you make one you will need a new PSP battery as you have to turn a normal PSP battery into a Pandora.
So the best bet would be to buy one as its a little cheaper then buying a whole new battery.
Just Google Pandora Battery and you should be able to find a place that sells them.
