As shown on RPGamer.com, there is discussion at Square-Enix HQ about the making of a "new MMORPG" and the work in progress of Final Fantasy XIII. I may be jumping the gun cuz I haven't even played 12 yet, but I thought you would all like to know.

And considering XII isn't even out yet ... jeeze.

But yeah I just read this info myself, I'm not sure why they're going with another MMORPG, let's just hope FFXIII isn't that next MMORPG.

No offense really, if they wanted to do that couldn't they just make a seperate game, away from the "series"?

i see where you guys are coming from, make final fantasy XI the online one was completely unnecessary. They could have atleast called it like "Final Fantasy Online" or "World of Final Fantasy" . They managed to do it with Final Fantasy Tactics so whats the problem here?
