Well basically, I have finally found a girl that I truly love and that
loves me as well. She is quite literally perfect for me, we have tons of
stuff in common, etc etc. The only cons here are 1) she lives in
Greece, I live in the USA (sadly) and 2) she also has kids from a
previous relationship. The long-distance stuff really isn't too much of a
problem for me, but the kids thing kind of is. It truthfully kind of
bothers me that she has kids from before when I came around, and I also
don't know how the hell I'm going to adjust to being a father figure to
kids who aren't even biologically mine. It's seriously getting to me,
but I truly love this woman more than I've ever loved anyone in my life,
and there's no way in hell that I'm just going to dump her over
something like that. But seriously, how will I adjust to this?
How do I even be a good "father"? I'm worried.

Wow. That is quite the predicament you have there. Just out of curiosity, how old is this girl? You are 16 and she has kids. So hopefully she isn't 16 also. Also, unless you are preparing to move to Greece or she is planning to move to the USA, you are going to have some troubles. Long distance relationships are very hard to pull off. I don't think you will have to worry about the kids for a while. You are only 16. You have plenty of time to prepare before you get married (assuming you two do end up together).

I know, but there's really not too much to worry about. I have known her for a long time prior to us dating, I skype with her, etc. She's perfect for me.

Age diffrence can be a problem Legally. But for love itself it never should matter. But worrying about being a father figure to those kids is something you should not do. Mentally preparing yourself for something like that is rarely possible. So Don't try and plan it out, just take it one step at a time. And eventually it will just come naturally to you. As for being a good father. Well there isn't really advice to give for that. Cos Each person is diffrent and does things in their own way. So all you can really do is just be you and take it from there. Mistakes will happen that is what being human is all about. i have only been a Father for 2 and a Half years. And i have made plenty of mistakes in raising my daughter. But i learn everyday and end of the day all i can do is try to raise her the best i can and hopefully guide her into a bright future.That's pretty much all you can do as a Parent wether the children are yours Biologically or not.

There are so many things in play right now.  You're from different countries so you have different cultures.  She has kids from a previous relationship and you may only be a few years older than them.  You have to move out to Greece to go be with her.
Have you ever met her in real life?  Skype is great and conversations are great but a relationship is about dealing with someone confined in physical space with you.

Try a trip perhaps.  Also, finish school and get American schooling.  Do some research on what's going on in Greece right now and perhaps rethink the strategy.

lastly, you're 16 and you haven't developed in to man you'll be the rest of your life.  You're still learning about yourself and discovering who you are.  It isn't fair to tell this woman you'll be who you are right now in 10 years from now.  It won't happen.  Continue with your current relationship with her but also worry about yourself.  "Grow" more and see where you are after school.

Just think again how in love can you be with somebody you have never met before you can say you are actually in love with somebody.

Yeah, I mean I hate to be that guy here.... 

But man, that's a 9 year age difference you got going there...

I'm not saying it's impossible, but there are just so many variables here.

Have you ever worked before? Do you know what the job market is like in her town/city? Where will you get the money? Can you care for kids?What will you be leaving behind? Who will you be leaving behind? Do you speak Greek? Can you learn to speak Greek? Will your age difference allow you to marry? If things don't work out where will you go? Do you know her parents? What will they think? 

See? It's all well and good to fall head over heels in love with a girl, but that doesn't mean the realities of life go away.
