Ignoring that my actual first post was elsewhere, I'm still new. Anyhow, hi, I'm Jin, Flaymhart, Jinairen, whatever fits in between, for anyone who might recognize it from anywhere. I'm known for almost making pretty cool RPGs, 'almost' being the key word. I have a tendency to get side tracked half way through, lose the groove for the story, or just get to the point where the twists are done and the hacking and slashing is all that's left, at which point I lose interest, and go off to make a new one. Sometimes, I eventually come back to finish them, but that's a bit rare. That said, I've successfully pieced together a persistant world, and a few major characters that show up in most of my creations. Currently, I have a facsination with tactical games, such as Fire Emblem and the like. So...yeah, there you have it. Oh, and hi. *waves*

Hiya Jin, welcome to you.
I like RPGs and tactical games myself, have you tried any of the Romance of the 3 Kindoms games? Those are a good tactical series, lots of playability there.
Or maybe try some of the strategy RPGs from Nippon Ichi like Disgaea, their cool and funny too
If you ever finish one of your RPGs you should post about it in Game Design so we can have a look.
Anyways, have fun on the boards.

As to DarkHyren, I've actually been making a point of collecting Nippon Ichi's games whenever I have the extra cash for it. I loved all three Disgaeas, though I have to say that the first is still my favorite. Makai Kingdom has the most interesting system, in my opinion. They pulled off the gridless battles extremely well, and you can't beat mowing down armies with a mini-gundam while everyone else is using swords and the like. Sadly, I haven't played any of the Romance series yet, but I'll look into that. Again, thanks for the warm welcome, and looking forward to the day that I finally finish a game of my own to share.

Someone stole my copy of the one with red head and her eagle on the cover...can't remember the subtitle. Anyway, I just loved the gridless system of Makai Kingdom. It seems like every SRPG has the exact same grid system, and it was nice to see a change so well done.
