I have some questions for you guys:

1) What is the hardest Nuzlocke you've done?
2) Easiest?
3) What are your rules for Nuzlocke? I know the basic 2 but it'd be interesting to hear different people's rules.

Hardest Nuzlocke was Yellow, easiest was Ruby (because I know the game so well). I do the normal rules. I also do that you have to start over completely if you black out/white out.

tgags123 : Awesome! I just tried Dark Rising as my first Nuzlocke and I failed MISERABLY!!! I couldn't even make it to my first badge. I did the basic rules, no healing items in bag/only Pokemon centers and also game over if you white/black out. But I think I will be a bit more generous to myself and allow both bagged items and Pokemon centers next time.

xxeliza321xx : What kinda rule is no items. I've never heard that rule and it makes nuzlockes next to impossible. You would have to leave a place consistently for Pokemon  centers to heal after like every battle.

Hardest would probably-

Emerald- Tate and lisa(that gym is evil) and the fact that wallace is the champion. Ruby's elite four is so much easier just for the fact that they have Steven instead of Wallace.

Platinum- because i don't know the game very well, unlike 3rd gen. Not very good Pokemon. Elite four is kinda hard in that game.

mourinhosgum : Oh I've heard people do no bagged items on other websites and I wanted to try it since I hardly use them and rely mostly on Centers anyways, but yea I learned my lesson! And that's cool!

I've only done nuzlocke runs about 3 times, and only on hacks. Currently doing one on the Rocket Science hack, and have previously done one on Pokémon Rebirth. Since Rebirth is the only time I ever completed one, I'd say that was the hardest so far. My current run on Rocket Science has been mostly easy, though I have been pretty cautious.

My current rules are the usual catch first thing encounters on route with only one chance (but only starts when pokeballs are available). I currently use a dupe clause where I cannot attempt to catch any Pokémon I have already nor failed to capture (meaning one failure and that Pokémon can never be caught, though evolutions count as different Pokémon). And gift Pokémon count for the area they are given in. Shiny Pokémon have to be caught but I can never use them (for they must go to the team rocket boss).
Nickname everything as soon as possible.
Faint = Dead
Can use legendaries as long as they follow the catch rules, but I still have to catch them for the boss. Limited one legendary on the team at a time.
Finally, run doesn't stop if there's a wipe out as long as I have Pokémon still able to fight in the boxes. I'm taking it easy on my runs.

ruesen : I'm sorry, but what's the full title of the Rocket game? I've never heard of it! Sounds cool!

Steel Attacker: OMG Couldn't you have caught a Shroomish/Lotad in the woods or on the route before Rustboro & raised it/them if I remember correctly?

Oh my god oh my god oh my god I LOVE nuzlocke challenges. The whole idea of trust and death is amazing ^^  I also love its variants, such as an egglocke, or my favorite, the wedlocke. 

For questions:
1) Tie between my Heart Gold nuzlocke and an 'insane mode' black nuzlocke.
2) Crystal. 2nd gen is way to easy. I only had one death in total, and that was because I missclicked and used selfdestruct on my koffing.
3) a) Faint= death 
    b) Dead pokemon MUST be released, boxing is not allowed (except a dead shiny)
    c) First encounter a route/area is it, but I allow dupes clause to trigger 3 times.
    d) Everything MUST be nicknamed, preferably with a theme.
    e) no revives/ instant heal revival, etc. (example: Cheryl in diamond/pearl/platinum heals you after each battle. Death will still remain           death)
    f) Item limit of 5, when they spam accuracy drop/ evasion boost, I upgrade it to 10 for that fight. Dang emolga's...
    g) set mode
    h) [additional] No switching
