K first of all, sorry I haven't been on in a while, I kinda forgot how to type and write (close friends will understand why) Haderp. Now, back to business: Nintendo have announced that as of the 20th of May 2014, Most online services ( matchmaking, global trading etc ) will be erased forever from the Wii and the DS/Lite/i. I'm pretty annoyed about this cause I like playing SSBB and Pokemon white 2 online and trading with other people !! What are your views on this + do you think Nintendo made the right choice?

Welcome back . And, on topic of the thread, I heard. It stinks that I can't go on the Mario Kart Wii channel anymore. I really liked the tournaments. Same with Brawl. I think that Nintendo should have only closed most of their stuff. I mean, Pokemon Black and White 1 and 2 are kind of new still. So lots of people are still playing it no doubt. So maybe they should have kept that up a bit longer. And while Mario Kart and Brawl were fun online, Mario Kart slowly filled up with hackers, so I stopped with the wi-fi on that. And with Brawl, I miss it because the lag-free matches were really fun.

Money wise yes. For the average and "Hardcore" Gamers this is really bad. I mean its like Nintendo is like hey guys I know that yo wii and ds crap is cool but you gotta play the Wii U and 3ds! Cause ya know those things don't print money anymore! I really hate this because. I just got my Wii hooked up to the Internet and then I found out that this is gonna happen.
