Alright everyone,

So I created this thread because I want to know what all of your favorite Zelda games are. Also here you can discuss anything about the games. Such as what Nintendo should have done different, or what they should have added or left out of games. Also any fun facts that you know about Zelda games that we may not know, post them here too

As for me, my all time favorite Zelda game is Ocarina of Time on the Nintento64. Mostly the reason for this is because it is the first of the Zelda games I have played in my lifetime. We bought the game back in 1998 when it was first released, actually the day of it's release in America. I was 3 years old at the time, and was super excited to play because I heard my older siblings talking about how cool it would be. Well, my siblings didn't do it justice. I was sucked in and addicted to Zelda.

Here is a fun fact for you guys. If you purchased one of the original Nintendo64 Zelda Cartridges, then you'll notice that in the Fire Temple in Ocarina of Time, the music is different than it is for people who bought the cartridge game later on. The difference, is in the originals, you'll hear a Muslim prayer that is looped into the music track. I thought it was a pretty cool sound, however Nintendo saw it best to remove the prayer from the music loop, as to avoid causing offense to anyone.

Back to the discussion now before I rant on about more facts!

After we had purchased Ocarina of Time, I was the first to get to play it. (as I was the youngest at the time and got spoiled a lot) It was an awesome game from start to finish. Now being three years old, it wasn't easy to beat the game, but I wouldn't let that beat me. It took me about 4 months, but I had finished the game shortly after my 4th birthday. Since then, and to the date of 3-4-14, I have started and completed Ocarina of Time a total of 43 times. This includes collecting all the Gold Skulltula tokens and heart pieces. I have even taken the game to complete new levels by adding a special set of rules set by myself before the beginning. I called it the Ocarina of Time Hardcore play through.

The rules for this play through were simple:
1. You cannot collect any heart pieces or heart containers. You must start and finish the game with the 3 hearts you start with.
2. You are not allowed to get the larger magic meter.
3. You are not allowed to use any potions or items that refill your life. (This includes fairies used upon death)
4. You cannot cheat the game in any way period. This especially means no clipping. (If you wanna know what clipping is look it up on google or YouTube)
5. If you die once, you have to delete the file.

After you beat the game numerous times, I would suggest trying to follow the rules I made for a hardcore play through. Also, as an added bonus, to the first person who views this thread, and posts a playlist of their Hardcore play through, using my rules, post the link to the playlist and I will watch it. I will give 2,500 Viz to the person who does it first. Let's see how many Zelda hardcore players we have out there. You may use the Nintendo64 version to record, you may use a ROM on the PC or even play from the Vizzed RGR. I suggest you record it and play from here on Vizzed, because for every 1 minute of video you record, you can earn 50 Viz. So an average 20 minute video can earn you 1,000 Viz. Just food for thought. Good luck to everyone!!

Well that's about it for me on this post. I will probably also create a poll where you can vote on which game was/is your favorite of all time. Also please let's keep this thread going. Post your Zelda gaming experiences, secrets, achievements, opinions, and discussions. I'd like to hear from all of you fellow gamers on how you feel towards The Legend of Zelda!!
