being in the military is a way of life unlike no other. As a solider we have strict guidelines and rules and a purpose to serve in the united states military. For those of you out there who think that the government sucks well..............it does. Yea that's right I believe the same thing you do but what people need to stop doing is hating on us for stepping up to the cause, if theirs one thing citizens will never understand that would be, we don't go to war for the politicians but for the men and woman standing right next to us putting bullets and bombs down range. Stop looking at us as if we are unhuman we are just like you but trained and prefect in our warrior tasks. We do what must be done in order to protect the country the united states citizens live in. What are your thoughts on this subject?

Who's hating on the military here?  You're coming on awfully strong and defensive.  Why not try a different tactic and ask how people feel about soldiers and all that.

I was in the Marines for six years in the infantry.  There are very few servicemen or servicewomen who are trained and perfect in their warrior tasks.  They do it for a job or for college or just are there to blow up stuff.  It's different as a way of life but so is being a police officer, a fire fighter, and other jobs that are more dangerous than most MOS's in the military.

I did my time. Like almost everybody else here in this nation of mine. And I am not whining about it. I was in the infantry. Not in your army but in an army nonetheless. If you sing up and volunteer for something then do your time too and shut your trap about being hated. You are a soldier. You were born to be hated by somebody.
