It's the same thing over and over and Oscars and all that have no appeal to me.  But do the movie stars enjoy going themselves?  They get to drink and hang out with friends so I guess?  But it's the same thing every year.

Yeah, the same thing every year. But it's a big event that takes place every year, and not every celebrity goes each year. Even if you are nominated, you don't have to be there to pick up your award.

Each year, they get prepared for this day and then once the day comes, they celebrate. It's just like every holiday, you plan out Christmas and Thanksgiving weeks in advance and then you celebrate on that day. 

In my opinion, they should like it because it only happens once a year, it's not like they have to do this every week, and it's fun.

That is an interesting question, I never thought about it to be honest. I guess that it changes from one to another but overall I believe they understand that it is a part of being famous. I think that people like actors who worked really hard to get to the place they are, enjoy these kind of events since being invited to them shows their hard work paid off. Again, it changes from a person to person, some probably doesn't like being in the middle of the spotlights all the time. If I was famous I probably wouldn't mind going to an event like that every once in a while, but going to events regularly might feel like a burden to me after a while. (celebrities goes all the time to charity events, expos and what not)

Well, I mean they probably like some and hate others. They're people after all, so they have preferences.

As a general rule though I'd say no. At first they probably think it's the greatest thing to be gawked at my millions of people, but after a while I've got to imagine it gets pretty old.
