Nintendo is coming out with a new Zelda game called "Hyrule Warriors" It was meant to appeal to the japanese audience and breaks away from the traditional Zelda formula and makes it into an army vs army game. You can look the awesome trailers up on youtube.

Ever heard of Dynasty Warriors? You don't have to wait for this game to be released because that game set the basics of this genre and there is no other game series like this.

Quhark : I enjoy DW sometimes, but I think Zelda would make for a better version of this genre. Still, I'll be sorely disappointed if Hyrule Warriors turns out like DW in any way shape or form. :

Sword Legion - I'm looking forward to it because it looks more mature than the Zelda titles we're getting anymore. Still, I don't know how much I like the idea of Zelda and Army battle gameplay. I can't wait to try it, but like I said to Quhark, I expect to be disappointed by it in many ways. Hopefully Nintendo blows me away with this one, but I just don't see the meshing of genres as being good.

But right now, it looks like they're just pulling out the 3D models from Skyward Sword and TP without altering them at all for the Beta. while I hope for a TP graphic's style, i expect something more like SS becuase all of the new stuff, seems to follow that games' graphic styles. I did see that there were some new item with TP like textures, like on the Hyrulean soldiers, so there is hope. Actually pretty good hope.

I want a sonic game like this honestly, using the United Federation and GUN vs Dr. Robotnik and the Eggman Empire.

If they don't make it an outright clone (especially with the campaign mode), and keep Link's control system, it could be pretty good still. Basically I'll be happy if the Story mode plays as a single scene that of course allows for saving as needed, and they don't tinker with battle mechanics. That's all that I really ask.
