Out of all the games that are destined to come out in the somewhat near future, besides Dark Souls 2, Fallout 4 has to be the game that I am anticipating the most. I am an avid and still very active fan of the Fallout franchise, with Fallout 3 being my favorite. Fallout 3 was in every way a perfect game, at least in my mind. Traveling the wasteland while gathering deadly weapons and facing lethal enemies, such as the super mutant behemoth's and deathclaws, is a style of game play that suits me and countless other people very well. Having Liam Neeson as the voice of your dad in the game makes it even better. The only downside that has ever detracted from the experience for me would be encountering the various bugs and glitches that the game has. Aside from that, the story has keep me going back and forth to it for years now, and I expect that it wont stop anytime soon. I wont say anything else about the story just in case someone has not played it yet. If you haven't played it, then you are really missing out and need to get your hands on a copy, ASAP. You will not regret it. But enough about that. Lets talk about Fallout 4!
Fallout 4 is the next installment of the Fallout series, that is thought to follow after the story of Fallout 3. There has been a lot of speculation and rumors about the story, which have been discredited. However, the rumor about Boston was discredited when it first arose, but now some of the people involved have hinted that Fallout 4 may indeed take place in Boston. In Fallout 3, there were numerous references throughout the game that has led people to believe that Fallout 4 will take place in Boston. Specifically, this is indicated by the android quest line, involving Dr. Zimmer. During the quest, Zimmer makes numerous references to The Institute and The Commonwealth. The commonwealth is most definitely talking about Boston, which in the game would be called the Massachusetts wasteland, and The Institute could be referring to MIT. The technology at the Institute far surpasses anything that was in the Capital wasteland. At least when it comes to robotics and androids. This makes a Boston setting pretty exciting to think about. This setting in Boston has been backed up by the fact that Bethesda has been seen in Boston, surveying the land. Could they be planning the setting for Fallout 4? At this point, it is just speculation. Keep in mind, nothing is set in stone at this point. There is still a huge gap that separates us from the release of Fallout 4, so there is still a lot of room to change. At the end of this post, I will copy a link to a Youtube series that wont steer you wrong, if you want to study it further.
One of the major concerns that I have about this game is not the game itself, but the accessibility of the game for me personally. I am a college student and I am not planning to get a new system now or maybe ever, depending on the circumstances. Unless somehow My family wins the lottery within the next couple of years. Don't get me wrong, I am very very excited for this game to come out and I want to play it very bad. I realize that there are priorities that come before video games so I will do what I have to do, even though I will hate it. I just want to express my concern and see if anyone else was in the same boat. This being said, Fallout 4, along with many other games, may not be available for the Xbox 360 upon their release. This worries me. I would hate to not be able to play one of my favorite game series just because I cant afford the
update. This is a concern that many other people may be facing, so at least there is a comfort in knowing that I am not alone in this regard.
All of this aside, I am very excited to see what Bethesda has in store for us, involving Fallout 4. Please, if I made a mistake about any of the information, let me know and I will be glad to hear it and correct it. I am not perfect and I don't pretend to be. Please feel free to comment and share any
updates that are found out about this game. As I said before, here is the link to a reliable Youtube series that talks about Fallout 4. If the link does not work, let me know. Thank you for reading this if you made it this far.
