I was thinking of ways to bring more people to Vizzed and well I had an idea that might just do that. On The Vizzed board someone should make threads answering commonly asked questions. Something like "Can I use the power cord from my model 2 Genesis on a model 3?" and have all the information the person would need. I have searched stuff of the same nature and sometimes have a hard time finding it, if someone wanted to know and they typed in the question then Vizzed popped up with a good answer, they might just stay. 

I am not sure if this is a good idea or a flop, just wanted to share it with you guys and see what you think.

Well I don't understand all of the ramifications of this, but if it doesn't have any negative aspects that I don't see, I think it could be cool. David has been working on making Vizzed useful for modern game players and collectors as well, by adding more VGR content, as well as the wishlist and such, so this just seems to be right on the same lines. I like the idea anyway.

Eirinn : I don't see any bad outcomes of it, other than having a bit more stickyed threads here and there. I really don't know though. Thank you for posting man.

I agree with this. It'd be much easier to find a lot of answers I can't seem to find on the Internet.

Well I've been looking at this thread all day, waiting for someone who might know more about it than I do to post. I may actually start doing things like this myself, actually. One thing that I know will come in really handy is a list of games in a certain genre. I know we can sort through those in the RGR and VGR, but I can't tell you how many times I've searched for lists of game genres for a certain console, like "Horror game list PSX" or "Platform game list N64". Those are always super handy, plus on Vizzed, a lot of games on those search lists could be played on the same site that you found the list on, so that would be extremely handy for site traffic, I think. Of course anyone wanting to do that should get approval first.

And the info for game system and accessory questions like you listed would probably draw in even more people.

Eirinn : Yeah, you see what I am getting at! I have already started doing top tens (which seems to be the most searched thing when looking for good games for a console). There seems to be a lack of information on kinda important things when it comes to games, and consoles. Like if I didn't know not to hook up my model 3 gen with model 2 cords it could fry it, its good to have the info out there and easy to find for everyone, and yet again it could draw in more people to Vizzed.

I think I get what is trying to be thought of here. The point is, is that if Vizzed had this sort of feature and someone decides to Google it, it may lead him to Vizzed for the answer. It is kind of like a troubleshooting place for consoles. Considering that they are searching the web for those kinds of things means that they must love video games and when they notice what kind of site Vizzed it if they are observant then they may stay. I think this is a pretty neat idea.
