I voted for dubstep and pop.

While there are particular songs out of the others that I like, I like most pop songs instantly. 

I've recently started listening to dubstep. At first, I listened to a few examples which misrepresented the genre. Now that I've listened to severa dubstep remixes, I have a few that I listen to throughout the day.

Classic Rock is definitely my favorite type of music, from early artists such as Chuck Berry or Elvis Presley to newer artists or bands such as AC/DC or Pink Floyd. The sound is pretty awesome, y'know? And some of the songs have deep meaning to them.

My music tastes are very wide from a little rap (tech n9ne, eminem) to Celtic punk/rock (dropkick Murphys, flogging molly) to rock (system of a down, rise against) to metal (underoath, manowar, cradle of filth) to j-rock (maximum the hormone, stereo pony) to symphonic metal/rock ( Within Temptation) a little country (no bands really come to mind) XD

My vote goes to other. I listen to Punk (and most of the sub genres off of Punk) and Outlaw Country. I like music that has something to say that is worth saying and is real, not some studio trash or big business rip off. I like what I like.

I choose dubstep for a few reasons:

1. Dubstep is life.
2. I like the bass that it brings to my car when I have it hooked up for a drive around town, or when I have to take a drive that will take me a few hours.
3. The anticipation of the bass drop is just so much fun.
4. You can never really memorize a dubstep song, which I find really cool.

I'm mainly listening to the beat or the rhythm...not necessarily the words, most of the time. The words, no matter how good they might be, have little effect except if you already have them memorized. I feel like it allows me to express myself, not just through anger, but through any emotion. Plus, its probably the oldest genre of music as it dates back all the way to the 1940s.
