This thread is meant to discuss unpopular or controversial YouTube opinions of any sort. It doesn't matter what your opinion is, as long as you don't start swearing like a sailor or throwing legitimate insults at other people for their opinions, they will be accepted. You can talk with each other about their opinions, but please refrain from insults. There's a fine line between insulting and criticizing - please keep that in mind.

I can see some quality in Let's Play videos recorded with external cameras, as long as the camera is steady, the view covers the entire screen or close to it, and the quality is good(the game isn't too bright or too dark to see, the colors are distinguishable, etc.). While many people absolutely despise the very idea, it is completely possible to do well with a video camera if you don't have the necessary tools to make a video the "proper" way. superskarmory and cobanermani456 come to mind.

NovemberJoy : I sort of agree with that. I have a YT channel myself, and I've only once uploaded I video recording a game with a camera because I know so many people hate it, but personally I don't mind I at long as it looks tolerable.

As for my unpopular opinion: I don't always hate YouTube changes no matter what they do, like most users. Yes, the Google Plus thing was terrible, and they've been making a lot of bad changes lately, but I don't think that every single time they change a minuscule thing, it's bad. The best example of this was when they first started moving towards the Google Plus thing, by making the video player page have a plain white background, and justified to the left. Everyone lost their minds over that, but personally I really didn't mind because it made no difference to the actual functionality. I think that was back in December 2012. Maybe people were just going crazy because they thought it was the end of the world. Right? Right? No? OK.

tornadocam : I'm just saying, that's not really a controversial opinion. I mean, Google + is probably the worst thing that happened to the Internet. Like if Facebook and Twitter had a baby.

AVGN is hilarious but annoying.
Tobuscus is the most annoying thing in the world and my friend FORCES me to listen to his crap AND I BREAK INSIDE. I'm sorry, but it literally hurts to listen to his songs.

MysteriousPanzer : Google+ sure is dumb, but really dude? Twitter is where all intelligence magically disappears, while Facebook is where people go if they're too careless to talk to their friends in person. Unless it's intercontinental, I can understand that. Who wants to pay a toll to call someone so far away? Not me! ...But then what's the point of IMing?

I actually like Google+ integration, I just wish it had been done better. The main problem came with switching most people's channels (including mine) to G+ Pages instead of linking them to our profiles like they used to be.
