Hello, my fellow members of the Vizzed community! NintendoFanKimmy here, and this time I bring you a different kind of thread. I present the very first thread in the NintendoFanKimmy's Top Three Series! This time, I will be counting down my top three antagonists from the Dragon Ball meta-series. Now, let me begin, and I hope everybody enjoys giving this a read:
#3 - Cell: Cell is definitely worthy of being dubbed a hardcore DBZ villain. What really got him his place in the top three was his mission. I was pretty impressed! I like the idea of him being an android himself and wanting to return to the past to absorb Android 17 and Android 18, who he ended up eating (and throwing up). He tried to do this in his attempt at reaching his 'perfect form', and can apparently survive after self-destructing. Cell deserves a round of applause, and has earned himself the third spot in my top three Dragon Ball Z villains.
#2 - Android 18: While Android 18 is now married to Krillin and is a major protagonist, she was, as I am sure you all know, an antagonist, being one of the many androids trying to take over Earth. What I loved about her character was the change of heart she (and Krillin) had to switch sides and save the world. Also, she is very strong, proving so after beating a poor Super Saiyan Vegeta to a pulp while she was still a villain. Later on, when the meta-series moved on to Dragon Ball GT, her former brother, Android 17 was beckoning her to rejoin him and the doctor (who brain-washed him) in charge of the androids in one last attempt at taking over the world. This put her personality to the test onece more, but she refused to join him, especially after he killed Krillin. Eventually, she persuaded Android 17 to change his ways and killed the one who brainwashed him. Because of her interesting and complex history, she deserves the second place spot in my top three Dragon Ball Z antagonists.
#1 - Frieza: Frieza was an epic villain with a real sense of evil and cruelty to him, and I find it too bad that he died. He and his men have killed thousands of innocent Namekians without a hint of shame; this, along with his other traits make him my best Dragon Ball Z villain to date, and the fact that his final battle with Goku was the most epic! They were fighting under a rushed time limit of five minutes on planet Namek, which was set to explode after Frieza shattered its core. The suspenseful feeling added to the greatness of the battle, and Goku had to defeat Frieza (who could breathe in space) before making it to his ship. After being blown to bits after a close battle, Frieza was rebuilt (partially) later on Earth, where he didn't last long as he was killed by the sharp blade of Trunks's sword.
That wraps up today's NintendoFanKimmy's Top Three series! Cell, Android 18, and Frieza are my favorite Dragon Ball Z antagonists, while Garlic Jr. and Bills are quite close. I would highly appreciate your feedback! Do you disagree with this countdown? Do you agree with this countdown? If so, why, and if not, why not?
