"Ohhhh..." As I tried to get out of bed, the weight of my baggy eyes and sore neck made it very difficult to even try to sit up. "Why did I do that?" I asked myself. Why did I do that? Why did I have to end up like this? What was I thinking? It all started last night...
"I think I should go to bed at midnight!" I said proudly.
"And what would you do then?" my mother asked.
       "Play video games."
"I'm not waking you up then."
When my parents left and went upstairs, I started to play Monster Master, a game where you find a monster, then keep it. You have to train it to fight bad monsters. I was on the final level, where I had to fight a two-headed monster to win the game! I tried all I could, but it was too strong for me. He defeated me over and over again. I was exhausted after playing for hours.
When I took a look at the clock, I was amazed. It was 2:07 AM! That means that I've been playing for....five hours? I needed some sleep immediately. So, I went to my room and buried my head in my pillow. Why, why? I just want to get through the day. Maybe I can make it to dinnertime, or noon. Or maybe I can go back to sleep.
