When I first started it, the emulator lagged a bit and the sound became echoed and with many interferences. At first, it disappears after a little while, but all of a sudden it has returned and now it's permanent, doesn't matter which game I play.
I've seen that I'm not the only one having issues with this emulator, but before trying here, I tried another emulator by myself and it worked just fine, so the computer has nothing to do here. Any help?

Well PSX emulator is bad to lag. I used that emulator playing my playstation games and it would lag and skip.  See if you can use a PSXfin emulator it runs so smoothly.

tornadocam : yes, PSXfin was the emulator I used by myself and works very good, but the problem was to find good quality roms. I'm talking about the emulator used in this site. Seems there's no way to solve it and that the emulator itself is the problem. Is there a way to play the games in the RGR with any emulator of my choosing? Or, at least, be linked to where the roms were found? I hope that they are better than the ones I used to find over the internet, otherwise nothing more to say.

fightorace : I appreciate your help, but the first one has nothing for PSX, and the second one is missing a lot of games I'm searching for. Thanks anyway.

The PSX emulator is very taxing on a system.

What are your computer's specs?

vanelan : It really took a lot of time, and still I think I don't have the information you asked for. I've searched for a long time, but the only things I can say is that the computer is an HP model p6394es running Windows 7 Home Premium, with an Intel Core i5 processor. It uses a Sapphire HD6450 graphics card because I burned down the original one. I don't think I can find much more than this, so I hope I answered your question at least a little bit.

As a side note, I think that writing this reply somewhat made the emulator work better, although just for one game I've played so far, where the animation didn't lag (although it had little animations since it was a card game). The sound also worked well at certain times, so I'll continue checking out while I wait for more answers.
