Here is a quick little guide on the gyms across the Unova region. First up, we have the Aspertia gym. This is a normal type Pokemon gym. I suggest that your Pokemon are at least level 15 and that you have at least one potion. This gym has two trainers.

Youngster Pedro uses a level 9 Patrat and a level 9 Lillipup. Lass Serena uses the exact same team as Pedro but in reverse order. The gym leader, named Cheren uses the same Pokemon as the trainers, but the Patrat is level 11 and the Lillipup is level 13. For beating this gym, you will receive TM 83 which is Work Up and you will receive a total of 1848 Dollars.

Next you will be heading to the Virbank gym.  This is a poison type gym and I suggest having Pokemon that are at least level 20 and bringing at least two Potions with you. This gym has two trainers.

Roughneck Nicky uses a level 14 Grimer and a level 14 Koffing. Guitarist Billy Jo uses a level 14 Venipede and a level 14 Koffing. Next is the gym leader named Roxie who uses a level 16 Koffing and a level 18 Whirlepede. Once you beat this gym you will receive TM 09 which is Venoshock and you will receive a total of 2944 Dollars.

Next up will be the Castelia gym which is a Bug type gym. I suggest having Pokemon that are at least level 27 and bringing at least 4 Potions with you. This gym has four trainers.

Harlequin Jack uses a level 20 Combee and a level 20 Swadloon. Harlequin Clarence uses two level 20 Sewaddle’s. Harlequin Gary uses a level 19 Sewaddle, a level 19 Combee, and a level 19 Dwebble. Harlequin Anders uses a level 20 Dwebble and a level 20 Swadloon. Next you will face gym leader Burgh who uses a level 22 Swadloon, a level 22 Dwebble, and a level 24 Leavanny. For beating this gym, you will receive TM 76 which is Struggle Bug and a total of 5388 Dollars.

Next up is the Nimbasa City gym which is an Electric gym and contains two trainers in the original gym and three trainers in the new one. I suggest having Pokemon that are at least level 35 and you have at least two Super Potions.

Rich Boy Rolan uses a level 24 Blitzle. Lady Colette uses a level 24 Flaaffy. Beauty Nikola uses a level 27 Elekid and a level 27 Flaaffy. Beauty Fleming uses a level 27 Flaaffy and a level 27 Blitzle. Beauty Ampere uses a level 27 Blitzle and a level 27 Elekid. Next you will battle gym leader Elesa who uses a level 28 Emolga, a level 28 Flaaffy, and a level 30 Zebstrika. For beating this gym you will receive TM 72 which is Volt Switch and a total of approximately 14000 Dollars.

Next is the Driftveil City gym which uses Ground type Pokemon. This gym has 7 trainers and I suggest having Pokemon that are at least level 38 and that you have at least 4 Super Potions.

Worker Noel uses a level 31 Baltoy. Worker Tavarius uses a level 29 Drilbur, a level 29 Baltoy, and a level 29 Sandile. Worker Niel uses a level 30 Baltoy and a level 30 Sandile. Worker Pasqual uses a level 30 Drilbur and a level 30 Baltoy. Worker Friedrich uses a level 31 Sandile. Worker Tibor uses a level 30 Sandile and a level 30 Drilbure. Worker Manyard uses a level 31 Drilbur. Gym Leader Clay uses a level 31 Krokorok, a level 31 Sandslash, and a level 33 Excadrill. Once beating this gym, you will receive TM 78 which is Bulldoze and a total of 12000 Dollars.

Next is the Mistralton City gym which is a Flying type gym. There are five trainers, I suggest bringing Pokemon that are at least level 44 and that you should bring at least five Super Potions.

Pilot Flynn uses a level 37 Swoobat. Pilot Winslow uses a level 37 Siglyph. Pilot Ewing uses a level 37 Unfezant. Pilot Elron uses a level 36 Archen and a level 36 Unfezant. Pilot Chase uses a level 36 Ducklett and a level 36 Swoobat. Gym Leader Skyla uses a level 37 Swoobat, a level 37 Skarmory, and a level 39 Swanna. For beating this gym you will receive TM 62 which is Acrobatics and a total of 16000 Dollars.

Next is the Opelucid City where the Dragon gym is. I suggest bringing Pokemon that are at least level 52 and that you have at least three Hyper Potions. There are five trainers in this gym.

Veteran Lucius uses a level 46 Fraxure. Veteran Rhona uses a level 45 Fraxure and a level 45 Druddigon. Veteran Jerry uses also uses a a level 45 Fraxure and a level 45 Druddigon. Veteran Denae uses a level 44 Fraxure, a level 44 Druddigon, and a level 44 Axew. Veteran Ron Also uses a level 44 Fraxure, a level 44 Druddigon, and a level 44 Axew. Gym Leader Draydon uses a level 46 Druddigon, a level 46 Flygon, and a level 48 haxorus. For beating this gym, you will receive HM 82 which is Dragon Tail and a total of 23000 Dollars.

Next is Humilau City. This is the last gym and uses water Pokemon. I suggest having Pokemon that are at least level 55 and having at least 3 Hyper Potions. This gym has six trainers.

Ace Trainer Melina uses a level uses a level 48 Alomomola. Ace Trainer Doyle uses a level 47 Floatzel and a level 47 Mantine. Ace Trainer Santino uses a level 48 Walrein. Ace Trainer Jeanne uses a level 47 Pelipper and a level 47 Wailord. Ace Trainer Sable uses a level 47 Golduck and a level 47 Starmie. Ace Trainer Enzio uses a level 46 Basculin, another level 46 Basculin, and a level 46 Azumarill. Gym Leader Marlon uses a level 49 Carracoasta, a level  49 Wailord, and a level 51 Jellicent. Beating this gym gets you HM 55 which is Scald and a total of 22000 Dollars.

Next it’s time to face the Elite Four. Shuantei uses a level 56 Coffigarus, a level 56 Drifblim, a level 56 Golurk, and a level 58 Chandelure. Marshal uses a level 56 Throh, a level 56 Sawk, a level 56 Meinshao, and a level 58 Conkledurr. Grimsley uses a level 56 Liepard, a level 56 Scrafty, a level 56 Krrokodile, and a level 58 Bisharp. Caitlin uses a level 56 Musharna, a level 56 Sigilyph, a level 56 Reuniclus, and a level 58 Gothitelle. Champion Iris uses a level 57 Hydreigon, a level 57 Druddigon, a level 57 Aggron, a level 57 Archeops, a level Lapras, and a level 59 Haxorus. You will receive a total of 36000 Dollars and you are now the champion.
