Davideo7 : Well, nguyen did rise to the challenge as I figured he would. His video is pretty freaking good. In all honesty, I think speed runs on games like sidescrolling shooters is more of a race to who can beat the bosses the quickest. As the ships typically go the same speed throughout the game, the main time differences would be the boss fights. But I think that starting next month, I might take just a little breather from the deathless run thread challenges, and look at Aldynes. I'll try to get a video in for the site. I'll even try to do a deathless run of the game (but don't know if I can pull that one off).
