Having trouble with GBC/GBA emulators, can someone help me?

So, earlier, I tried to play a game on the GBC emulator with the plug in. But when I tried to play, everything was stuck in fast-forward! I know there's a way to slow it down on the Java menus, but I haven't found it on the plug in menu.

But anyway, let's get back to this:

I thought the game was just a bit odd and tried another GBC game. This one was also fast. I saw similar topics of only certain systems going out of whack, so I decided to play GBA. But when I started a game on THAT, I got similar results. Does anybody know how to fix this issue?

Reec13 : The quickest and easiest solution would be to use the alternate emulator "Mednafen" -

To use, just load the game like you have been, and when the game window pops up, click the link that says "Play using Mednafen" in the upper left hand corner of the game window.

Although the one part that kinda stinks is that your save file isn't compatible with this emulator, so you will have to start over.

One good thing though, is that this emulator allows for full screen. TO go full screen, hold alt+enter on your keyboard with the game window active.

It also allows for recording for game footage.
