It's probably time for a Creepypasta.
WARNING: IF YOU ARE WATCHING THIS AT NIGHT AND YOU GET SCARED, DON'T LOOK AT THE "Return of Ganon (1).jpg" FILE. IT'S A SCREENSHOT OF WHAT I SAW PLAYING. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. GOOD LUCK.
For other people's sake....I won't give any names, only ones in the game. ? So, it was, hmm... maybe... 3 months ago? I was over at my friend's house and he wanted to show me this new program on his computer that can run several types of ROMs, especially hacked ones. However, his file was very small. I looked at the file size... and it said... 666KB. My friend said, "Oooh... it's the devil!" and then laughed. I don't have an image of it because it didn't really matter to me, but I'm sure you get a picture in your mind. There were two files in a folder named "folder1.zip". That seems like a normal folder name to me. There were two files, "gameover.jpg" which I renamed "Return of Ganon" later on and made a copy, "Return of Ganon (1)" to print out and scan later, but the other file, "adlez.exe". My friend said, "Hey, you know, if you spell Adlez backwards, it spells Zelda." I sighed, facepalmed, and opened it up. It worked! But the title screen was blank. It seemed like a mix of different Zelda games when we started to play. This reminded me mostly of "Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link". We were surprised to realize that in order to gain experience levels, we needed only 666 points. We were about to save Zelda, but then, I guess an eviler version of Zelda, arose from Zelda's body. We jumped out of our seats and tried to beat someone who might be Adlez, but that's a mystery. With one hit she killed Link. Then we get the game over screen, but it was much different this time. Colors were inverted, and several splats of blood covered Ganon. After we saw that, we immediately shut down the computer. But it turned back on with the game over screen burnt into it. Okay, maybe that last part wasn't real, but...
A couple of hours later, we had deleted the files. I just hope they don't get themselves out of the Recycling Bin.
