Can't find a freeware art program I once used

DrawPlus 4.0. I downloaded the freeware DrawPlus Starter edition from Serif's website, but it disallows me from using some of the pre-rendered shapes and transparencies I once used in DrawPlus 4.0 freely for some of my backgrounds (I use Gimp for my main drawings, then make my backgrounds in DrawPlus 4.0 to make my characters pop.). I tried to copy the program over from my old laptop, but unfortunately I think there's some bit rot, as it refuses to work properly that way. I've tried downloading from a few freeware sites, but when asked to register the product I got a 404. (Don't worry, I made sure the sites/downloads were entirely safe before downloading anything. Last thing I need on this practically new MSI laptop is a virus, malware, etc.)

So if anyone knows where I can snag oldie-but-goodie freeware program, please help!

Since you have a new laptop it could be that the new laptop's operating system does not recognize the old that had your program on its operating system. I ran into this problem when I got my new laptop. My new laptop runs Windows 8 my old one had Windows 7. When I tried to transfer my Windows 7 programs to Windows 8 it threw up an error. So I had to download the versions of my programs that would run on Windows 8. Another thing that comes to mind is there a certain firewall that may be stopping it from downloading? Sometimes that is the case just trying to help

@Mohammedroxx3: I appreciate it, but I'm afraid that's one of the download links I've already tried. It does download the program, but... I'm afraid I still run into the error whereas it prompts for a registration that I'm disallowed to complete. Thanks so much for taking the time to try though!
