I played Legend of Zelda Minish Cap (which was originally for Gameboy Advance) on Vizzed.  I got about half way through and I got to a point where the game keeps crashing (at the exact same spot).  So I am stuck at that point (I can't get around the part where it crashes).

I tried every possible thing.  I did everything on the "crash" list.  I uninstalled the Plugin and re-installed it,  I tried it on several different browsers.  But it always crashes.  I've tested it several times over the past few weeks but it keeps doing it.

I've played a lot of games on Vizzed and I have never had this problem with any other game.  When I was playing, I saw in the chat box that other that people had problems with it crashing but no one gave any specifics.

So I am wondering if anyone else here had this issue with Minish Cap and, if you did, could you tell me where it happened when you did it.

I am trying to figure out if I started over if I will just run into this exact same thing.

And if there is a better forum for this question, let me know and I will move it.

Thanks!

I've made a thread on the game page regarding this game, which will have a solution.

Here's a link to the thread tRIUNE was talking about

https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=41358

Briefly put, game crashes at certain areas in the game. You can skip to screen after the part where the game crashes by loading a new save from aforementioned thread, but it erases your old save and replaces it with a similar one. Alternatively you can start playing the game with Mednafen which shouldn't crash, but then you'll have to begin the game again so you really need to pick your poison

tRIUNE :
I'm not sure if you can do anything about it, but there really should be a warning about the possibility of crashing underneath the "PLAY GAME" button, or at least somewhere on the front page of the game. I'm really thankful for making those other saves, but it really wasn't the same thing as I had wasted so much time looking for kinstone-pieces and doing other sorts of adventuring. Now I can't be really sure what the character has already gotten and what it hasn't.

jimbrown257 : IF you don't want to use the save state solutions on the previous posted Thread -Use the alternate emulator "Mednafen" - To use, just load the game like you have been, and when the game window pops up, click the link that says "Play using Mednafen" in the upper left hand corner of the game window.

Although the one part that kinda stinks is that your save file isn't compatible with this emulator, so you will have to start over.

One good thing though, is that this emulator allows for full screen. TO go full screen, hold alt+enter on your keyboard with the game window active.

It also allows for recording for game footage.

The quick version of the story is that the default emulator that the plugin uses for GBA games does not play well with this particular rom. That's why you only have this problem with this one game.
