What are your thoughts about the Grammy's? Is there specific artists you wished you saw? Or what artists do you like so far that you have seen?

I don't really like watching the Grammy's that much.. I do like watching artists sing and all but I was never really a big fan of the grammy nomminees. I used to watch it a bit when we still had TV but I haven't had TV service in quite a while now.. so I guess I am missing out.

I don't really like watching them that much. I am the kind of person that would skip the whole thing and search the results the next day.

I didn't really see the Grammies mostly because I hate modern music. I like the oldies music from 1960-1990. However, I saw clips of the country artists. I really do not mind the country artists. I think they are decent.

I did watch it, and thought it was alright. It had some good songs, and repeat performances (watch pink), and in my personal favorite Daft Punk taking the best album of the year award.

Ozzy Osborne couldn't get a lick of English out of his mouth, and I was upset that the big push to see Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney playing on stage together was a big bust. Metallica playing with a pianist was okay, nothing special. Daft Punk playing with Stevie Wonder wasn't too bad either.

The only reason I was watching was for my girl Taylor Swift. When she tweeted that picture of her seated at the piano on Friday, Swifties all over the globe knew she would be performing 'All Too Well'. I was already going to watch the Grammy's for her, but after that announcement I was too emotional invested to not watch. That is my all time favourite song ;p

Other than her, I enjoyed P!nk and Nate's performance, Imagine Dragon's and Paul McCartney's "Queenie Eye" was good too, but that's about it for me personally.

I watched the grammy winners parts but not anything else. Everyone I  hated won and everybody who were okay or were good did not win any. I now think my opinion is horrible.

I'm not into modern pop music, but I do still watch the Grammys. I enjoyed Stevie wonder with Pharrell, it was a very "old school" performance, that is until Daft Punk joined them, but even that was pretty cool.

Paul McCartney was awesome as always. And ringo sang "Photograph" which was nice for him to be in the spot light for a bit. While I would think I'd be excited for Ringo to play drums for Paul, which he did, they had an other drummer in the background doing all the fills and what not; that was just disappointing! I know Ringo isn't the most expressive or ridiculous drummer, but drumming for 9 years in a pop/rock band, then having his own band for an other 30 years, would make him a good enough drummer to learn one of Paul's songs. I don't know, maybe he has health problems or something, but it was a little disappointing.

On of the best parts, however, was this (watch his girlfriend's face): http://youtu.be/Ew8qXUA2UI0

Personally, I was hoping that Five Finger Death Punch either performed there or won a Grammy for their new albums, The Wrong Side of Heaven and The Righteous Side of Hell- Volume 1 and 2.I was a little disappointed when I saw that neither of them would happen. On second thought though, The Grammies shouldn't be thought of as the only voice that matters in music. Sure it can award achievement where it is due, but if someone is not selected, that does not mean that they are unworthy of receiving accolades of such high prestige. They were just unlucky because a lot of people wanted to see someone else in their spot. Due to this fact, I am not upset about anymore. I know what the band means to me and that is all that counts. The only upside for me was when Metallica performed their song "One" with Lang Lang. Hearing that performance reminded me of S&M, so I was happy to watch that performance.

I mainly watched the Grammy Awards to see Daft Punk and Lorde's performances. They did not disappoint. I was also surprised they won as many awards as they did. Since I mainly listen to underground musicians, I was quite pleased the few mainstream artists I listen to got in on the event.

For the rest of it, I mostly made fun of P!nk's bad lip-syncing and the unnecessarily proactive performances. (Beyoncé)
