(If this is in the wrong place can someone move it?)

First of all, my 3DS Xl stopped working for no reason (at least not for a reason that I can see).
Issues;
1) Touch Screen isn't  working
2)Start button isn't working
3)Select button isn't working
4)R and L buttons aren't working
5)D-pad and Circle Pad aren't working
I've tried searching for help online, but either I really stink at using the Internet or there just isn't any help to be found. I am here to ask if any of you can offer me some advice/assistance.  Thanks to those who try to help.

My father gave it me after he had it for awhile. It was working fine for quite a few months (Somewhere around 6). Just about two weeks ago it stopped working completely out of the blue.

kidcop : Well if you're 3DS XL isn't working. You could just hopefully repair it or not, but if that option doesn't work you might want to get a New 3DS XL and keep the SD Card if you have downloadable games and other apps. Hoped this helped

If I can't fix this one or get it fixed, I don't think I'll buy another. (Considering this one broke with no warning/reason). I'll need to figure out whats wrong with it before I can fix it though.

Do you think it was abused in any way? I mean, was there anything like having it in hot or cold conditions for too long, having it dropped, anything like that? Because that can really do some damage to a game system. I really don't know what you could do to fix it, unless you're really good with electronics and you can dismantle the system and repair the damaged components. You might have to resort to the tried-and-true method of buying another system. DS systems haven't been known for being the most durable things you can find. Perhaps you could try using a protective case next time...

kidcop : Like November Joy said, maybe someone or you dropped it or something close. My R button stopped working when I dropped it but it worked later. You could look for more tuts on Youtube and maybe something inside the 3DS is wrong. Maybe something is not connected. I hope it gets fixed soon!

NovemberJoy : I can't think of anyway it could have been abused. I definitely did it no harm, one morning it just stopped working.

Black Bot : I was to careful to have dropped it, but with all the people in my house it is always possible one of them is responsible.
