So I thought I would make a thread to let some members know what all happened to my mom and some stuff I found out at the eye doctor the other day. A couple of members already know but there is some people who don't know the full story and I'm sure they would like to hear it. So here goes. ?

Basically last Wedenday I had stayed up all night again and I lost track of time. My sister came in here and asked me what day it was about 8am.. and I said it's Wednesday. She said that mom was saying she didn't know what she was talking about. My mom always has my sister up for school ready to go and if she is late or oversleeps were like mom you over slept and she wakes up and says OMG I overslept! Well this time she didn't.

She kept saying I don't know what your talking about. I finally got her up into the living room and was talking to her and asked her what our names were.. she said them but was having a hard time remembering them. We asked her what year it was and she said it was 1975. Her memory was gone me and my sisters all started crying we didn't know what was wrong.

So I called my grandmother and told her mom was acting like she had alzheimer's or something. My grandma said I will be over as soon as I can I am not dressed yet. So my grandma got here and we ended up taking my mom to the ER. she even forgot who we were she didn't recognize people. ?

The doctors still didn't diagnose her with anything but she basically had a light stroke.. I stayed with her in the hospital a lot until Monday they let her go home. She gained all her memory back.. it was a miracle. God answered the many prayers that were being told for her. It's been hard but she is getting better and better it seems.

She's healing which is a good thing and I'm glad. This is basically the reason I was absent for those of you who didn't know. I was taking care of my mother. ?So next I scheduled a doctors appointment at the eye doctor to get my eyes checked because a lot times my vision blurs in and out.

He said that my vision was really great actually but I needed a small prescription for like reading and just when I need them so that was all good but the lady there took my blood pressure and it was high.

I have never had problems with my blood pressure so it's new to me but my entire family has to take medication for it. Basically now I am scared because my brother and my mom both take medicine for it and half the rest of my family as well.

I already take medication for depression and my mood disorder so I really don't want to have to take another pill. It scares me because my mom wasn't taking her blood pressure medication correct and she ended up in the hospital but we still don't know if that was the actual reason for all of that.

It scares me so very much and I hope it was just a one time thing for me. I will have to go to the doctor soon and get it checked out and keep a check on it because if it stays high I will eventually have to go on medication. My brother didn't have to start taking it till he was like 14 younger or older I don't remember and my mom didn't start till late in age maybe less then 5 months ago but I am not to sure on that. I am really worried about it.

I would appreciate it if most of you would keep me in your prayers and my mother as well for her healing and hopefully this won't ever happen again for her. I am so very worried about her and I check on her every hour almost. I care for her so very much and honestly I would be lost without her because I love her.

I appreciate those who read this as it was a pretty hard for me to go through all of this.. I'm just glad I am not blind and my mom is doing better. Things are hard but I know that if I hold on that things will get better. All I can do is pray and hope for the better.. I feel like that is all anybody can do really and it is a positive way to look at it. I love you all and hopefully I can stay positive through all of this because it is something that I really don't want to lose which is my positivity.

Bintsy : Don't you worry about anything. If anyone, I know exactly what you're going through. Hence me being sort of inactive lately.
While it can hurts, sometimes, all we can do is pray and try to help out as much as we can. Even when lives are on line.

Just try to stay positive. Things will get better that way.
Either you hopelessly try to avoid the future, or you look up and find a path to a bright one.

Bintsy I really hope things start to look up for you.  You and your family are going through so much.  I wish I could just go through this computer and help you out!  I am so glad your mother is recovering.  I also hope your health gets better.  I know stress can do awful things to your body.

Remember if you need someone to talk to I always open to lend an ear!  Good luck with everything!

Wow, I'm glad to hear your mom got her memory back. I will pray for her that she continues to fully recover from her stroke. I will also lift you up in prayers. Blood pressure is a serious thing as if it is not kept in control it can lead to complications. I am praying for you. Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me"

I'm so happy that your mother regained her memories!
Of course I'm praying for the health of you and your mother. I know you've always listened when I've had problems. I'll gladly return the favor if you need someone to talk to.

Hoping for the best, Bin!
Cheers,
