Hmm, I had something like this happen when I was still going to school.. I never got to get in the grade where I got a chance to use it but the people who did, did get to keep it. If yours is the same as my old school then yes.

If they're letting you take them home in 4th grade that probably means your parents have already paid for it. So, yes. They would let you keep them. In the unlikely event that they're giving them without payment, I'm not sure.

This only happened with me in fourth and fifth grade, and we did not keep the Notebooks (small laptops) after the school year was over. Thanks heavens, those were so cheap and laggy.
