How could you forget metalcore?! That's like the best subgenre! You've got Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Bullet for my Valentine, Bring me the Horizon and Avenged Sevenfold! Well, A7X was only metalcore for 2 albums, but whatever. Only death metal band I enjoy (that I know of) is In Flames. Most of their stuff is technically melodic death metal, but it's close enough

Didn't know they had so many types of Metal Music. I'm not a metal fan but some of the bands did have a few good songs. I am more of a soft rock person. However, some of the metal bands did have some good songs. Twisted Sister, were not going to take it was a good song. Quit Riot's come on feel the noise was very good in my opinion.

To be honest I couldn't pick so I went with they're all great But it would of been a hard choice between glam, nu, thrash and  classic because they are what I listen too most when it come to metal

I'm by no means a metal head, but I don't mind the occasional progressive, symphonic, or classic metal song. I also respect the influence they have had in other music. For example, Muse (all but their newest terrible album), has significant prog metal elements that I find really compliment their style.
