I was playing Minish Cap (GB Advance) on Vizzed.  I was pretty far in the game and then it crashed.  I keep restarting it but it just keeps crashing at the exact point (I can't go anywhere else as my save it right before the crash).  I tried playing it on IE, Chrome and Firefox but it crashes everytime.  I restarted my comp, I uninstalled and reinstalled the Plugin but it still crashes.  I noticed in the chat box on the left that others were having this same problem.

So I finally just gave up.

But is this a problem that would ever be fixed?  I mean, will I ever be able to finish my game?

It only crashes at the one point? Huh. How long will it take to get to that point? I can test it out and see if it is your computer or if it is Vizzed, as long as it won't take me too long to get there.

Actually, there was an earlier point in the game where the exact same thing happened but I was able to get around it.  That point was in the town.  Just like with the point I am stuck at now, the crash happened when going through a door.  I watched that part in a walkthrough video and the thing on the other side of the door wasn't a necessary item so I just skipped that room.

The first point would still take about an hour to get to.  It is in the town and you have to be able to flip the vases and make yourself small.  It happens when you turn small in the tavern in the town and go up to the roof, run across the beam to the next roof and go in.  When you try to leave that room from the other side, that is when it crashes. 

I appreciate the offer to help but it would take too long to get there just to test it.


Is there a way I can move my saved data to a different computer?  If there is, I could test it on another computer.

But I should note that I have had no problems with anything else on my computer.  I have played a lot of other games on Vizzed on this computer and I've never had this problem before.

jimbrown257 : You should be able to finish it though. It may just  be the game. Feel free to report the game in the Retro Game Room. I think you will get some assistance there maybe.

Now when you say "you should be able to finish it" are you saying there is a way I can get this crashing issue resolved? ?Would the people at Vizzed need to do something to make the repair before I will be able to finish it or is there something else I could do?

Also, where do I report the crash?  I looked in the Retro Game Room and I couldn't find the place to do it.   I did see the tips of what to do if a game crashes but I did all the stuff on the list (several times).

There should be a thread somewhere that let's you report broken games or something. Or there may be someone that can fix it. I don't think there is currently a correct way took fix this besides reporting. Feel free to contact me on my profile if you have any more questions because we don't want to spam in this thread of course.

Also, using the alternate Mednafen emulator doesn't have the crashing problem.
