Sometimes I take a break from the 8 (sometimes 9) contemporary shows that I follow and watch older shows. I enjoy them once in a while and it often gives a good feeling inside seeing TV from a very different world than the one we live in today. I've extensively watched Twilight Zone, Hitchcock, and MacGyver. There are a few more I watch more infrequently. What about you? What's your favorite TV show produced before 1990.

edit- oops wrong place, can someone fix that? I meant to put this in TV shows, not Movies.

Well my favorites are The Twilight Zone and the Andy Griffith Show because they are high in quality for their time and entertaining.

awesomeguy279 : I loved watching the Andy Griffith show! I haven't seen it in a while, so I'm a little rusty. Who were your favorite characters?
I loved the title sequence in itself. Oh, the memories

xxdougiexxfreshx : Yes, I remember that show! I used to watch "I love Lucy" quite a lot when I was younger.

It's a really interesting show historically considering the fact that Lucille Ball was affiliated with the Communist party and this was the era of McCarthyism.

I Dream of Jeannie was my personal favorite. I thought it was always interesting to see what spells she would concoct.
