Yesterday I had taekwondo training. There were two trainings: One for people with a brown belt (which I don't have, but my mum and I go together to that training and she does that training and I do homework) and then one for adults (14+). When the first training was finished, some people went away while others came and prepared for the next training, and then the training started for us. But suddenly, some girls went to our main teacher and told her that they couldn't find some phones and wallets. It turned out some of the girls were robbed. A few people looked around in the area, but there wasn't anything found. After that, everybody felt pretty sad. I was pretty shocked because I had my phone with me and I just put in my jacket so it could've been stolen too. I got even a bit suspicious and I put my bicycle on a chain (I'm Dutch, so if this sounds weird then please say that instead of saying 'yer English's bad'). Thus my question is: Have you ever been robbed or other people that you know? After that, everybody felt pretty sad. I have only had a Pokemon card taken off me by some kid who lived in my street. Other than that I haven't. It is really other members in my family that are targeted. Mainly it is do with mine and their location since I live in a Garden city and my Aunt lives in Luton she is way more at risk. Her Playstation 2 was nicked a few years ago when it was first released and was worth a lot. They also took her fridge and various other kitchen related items. Ugh. I remember when my iPod got stolen... that really sucked. :/ But I just hope that I finally get a phone. Then I just hope that I'll never be bored again! Ugh. MechaMento : Was it a weird kid? And did your aunt ever find the thief? I understand why they took a Playstation 2, but it's pretty weird they took a fridge and kitchen related items. pokemonfangirl : When was your iPod stolen then? My phone is pretty new so if it was stolen I would be a bit upset but not so much. Quhark: Really? Why would someone do that? Local Mods : Sorry for summoning you, but I'm curious about the person who changed the thread title name. Thanks for that by the way, this title sounds better pokemonfangirl : When was your iPod stolen then? My phone is pretty new so if it was stolen I would be a bit upset but not so much. The only thing I steal is food XD However, when I was little, my parents had some money which they put somewhere and when they didn't do anything with it I took it. I later confessed and I THINK I gave the money back but I don't remember very well... I hope I did. Our house was broken into once and all of the electronics were stolen. Everyone's CD's were taken too. My Aunt was mugged a few years ago. She was 60 and some jerk grabbed her purse, threw her to the ground and kicked her. She was okay afterwards, but God I was furious when I heard about it. Oh, and my cousin once stole my X-Men # 3 comic. Evil woman. |

juuldude : Nope, not me...
As for stolen stuff, a classmate stole my money once when I was in highschool. The most frustrating about it was that I knew she stole the money but I didn't want to tell it to our homeroom teacher. The second time that I knew she stole something was when she stole my friend's phone. That time we told our teacher already plus the time when she stole my money. Fortunately we were able to retrieve the phone. As for stolen stuff, a classmate stole my money once when I was in highschool. To be honest, I have never had any significant items stolen from myself. My friends throughout my school are too kind to contain any significant items that belong to another human being. They would eventually return it. Within addition, students throughout my school usually steal my pencils and pens, but that is just about it. Also, approximately two days ago or on the day of Friday, I do believe my "friend" had decided to steal my pencil case and throw it out because he was not such a fan of myself, but to be honest, I had nothing significant located within it. Also, he acted as if that was a threat to myself. Haha! I mean, it would have been nice to maintain it, but I am able to manage my life without it. Haha! Although, I am not too certain it had been himself because he seemed a tad hesitant to tell myself. Hmm… It had most likely been himself, though. I would definitely feel nowhere near astonished. Haha! |

Me? A LOT OF TIMES. I'll tell you a story about my most expensive item, so this post may be kind of long. I grew up without a lot of money, so my family and I used to live where it was cheap. That meant we lived in, (I do not mean to offend anyone when I say this,) the HOOD HOMIE. For my 14th birthday I got $500 in cash(my step-dad's grandfather died in 2008, God Bless His Soul and may he be in a better place.) I used the money on my bike that I had since I was 12-years-old.. I had the entire frame cleaned and refinished, got new sports pedals, new derailers (the things that change the speed for bikes), the derailers re-stringed and tightened, new gears for the derailers, a new chain, new handle bars and grips, and a brand new set of tires with new inner tubes. Basically it looked brand spankin' new. So I lived in the hood and my step-dad told me to put my bike up or it was going to get stolen. I REALLY SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. The next day I woke up and went to get my bike to find it missing. My step-dad walked outside, looked at the place where my bike was and asked "Your bike get stolen?" Without missing a beat I replied, "NOPE. It found the love of its life, which happens to be a super hot alien bike and they went to Planet X to get married. He told me he would send me a post card telling me how it went. Here's your sign dad.(My family loves comedy, Just FYI.)" I started to walk away, but I stopped, turned around and said,"Oh, and you were right." I have also had an mp3 player, several games, four CD players (the small ones that you could carry with you), several expensive books (I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BOOKS), and socks( literally right out of my gym locker. Whomever stole them was probably not happy afterwards because I had athletes foot at the time .) That is basically all the stuff that I have had stolen from me. Just this last October. My theatre kids were fundraising. At one day, they brought in over $500. I put it in my prop closet and locked it, and planned to turn it in to the financial office at the end of the day. I forgot to do that. I got it from the room the next morning to take to the office, and found that all the money except for the coins and $1 bills were taken. Over $500 of fundraising money stolen. Even worse, that money was what I was collecting to pay for the chocolate boxes we sold (we order them, make $60 per box, and use $30 to pay for the box). So I had to pay that lost money from our department's fund. |

Oowaa! Lots of stolen stuff! Here are my replies: Fishergirl7 : All the electonics stolen? That's not very pretty. How's your aunt doing now? I remember someone once tried to steal my grandma's bag, but she noticed and ran after him and she caught him! She got her bag back, but the thief ran away Awesome-Kid : Really? I never heard of that. I think that means they were hunting for bikes, chained or not chained, otherwise they wouldn't took material with them to break the chain. NintendoFan0513 : That's good to hear. Even I find some things back after a long time. Once I lost a Nintendo DS cartridge from a mario game, but almost a half year later my brother found it back IN MY ROOM ON JUST A FEW BOOKS }:U Juliet : Okay, but thanks for letting me know. What happened with your classmate once you got the phone back? I know it's kinda hard to betray a classmate, even when he/she did something worse. DenzGamer135 : Lol, what a jerk. That's almost a funny story. What do you mean with 'friend?' mangalover9x9 : Ah... that's pretty sad... Getting your bike all freshed up and then it's stolen... Anyways, lots of other stolen stuff too. I don't know why someone would steal socks, that means you must be a) confused b) weird or c) very poor. rcarter2 : Poor kids, there goes all the hard work. And you even had to pay back the money yourself? That's even worse. And somebody knew you had that much money because they somehow got the money from your locked office. juuldude : Well, the kids didn't suffer from it, really. The kids were raising money to pay their own way to the Thespian Conference that was last weekend. I ordered the boxes of chocolate, they sold it, gave me $30 to pay for the boxes, and they kept the $30. So their money didn't get stolen. $500 of the money that was going to be used to pay for the boxes got stolen. So I am the only one who is really getting the effect of that. I didn't have the kids give me the money they earned for their trip. That would be unreasonable. |

I've had a phone taken from me. Although it's kind of my fault. I put my phone in my gym bag while I had gym class and a bunch of stuff gets stolen from there. I come back and my pants are covered in flower and my phones gone -.-. I never got it back and just recently I lost my coat in the middle of winter and had to walk to school and home without one. Other than that I've never had anything stolen from me. |

My heart. The girl I loved up and left me for another man, a man named Sue. If he breaks her heart, I'm going to sue him. Just kidding Once, I had a bag full of game boy games stolen. I had about 11 or so. I was at my mother's work and left them when we left for home. When we went back, they were gone! My mother wasn't willing to question anyone about that., maybe she didn't want to lose her job, I dunno. It took me a long time to forgive her, and I still don't have a straight answer.
