Tired of only having a ransom of, say, 200 rupees in A link Between Worlds, AND having to search for the best Equipment? then read this guide on how to get certain peices of equipment and how to make your Shadow Link have a ransom of 999 rupees by doing this: (most of these are available after venturing to Lorule, bar the Red Mail) :

Having a fully upgraded Master Sword- to do this you need to go to the blacksmith in Hyrule with two Master Ores, then the blacksmith in Lorule with another two Master Ores. Master Ores are found in the Thieves Hideout, the Dark Palace, Skull Woods and Lorule Sanctuary ( the Sanctuary requires the Titans Mitts)

Collecting ALL the Heart Pieces in Lorule/Hyrule, this can seem annoying and worthless at times, but it all adds up in the end.

Having the "Great Spin" attack, which is given to you by Mother Maiamai after finding all 100 of her little baby Maiamais.

Two weapons that are upraded to Nice weapons, such as the Nice Fire Rod and the Nice Bow. You can upgrade one of your weapons each time you bring Mother Maiamai 10 of her baby Maiamais.

having the Red Mail, although to get to 999 rupees you must have the Blue Mail as well. You can find the Blue Mail in Swamp Palace, and the Red Mail can be found in Lorule Castle on the 4F by putting the toches out, so you can see an invisible path.

A good way to make your Shadow Link even harder is to give him one fully upgraded item, and then giving him a Blue Potion instead of an upgraded item, just to annoy everyone! the only problem is this might set your ransom to 970-990 rupees instead of 999.

This finishes the Perfect Shadow Link part of the guide, now on to the the Equipment!

Miscellaneous Equipment: the Hylian Shield can be found in Turtle rock dungeon, this shield can survive magical attacks as well.

Maiamais: these are Mother Maiamai's lost babies. Help return them to their mother and she will give you Nice things. You can hear them squeaking, even if you can't see them. They can be found both in Lorule and Hyrule, due to their Dimension traveling abilities.

Mother Maiamai: A worried mother who has lost all her poor little babies. She promises to help you by giving you nice things if you help her. She can be found in the cave east and a tiny bit south of Links house, or north of the House Of Gales. There is a sign in front of the cave saying "Strange Monster Found Inside!"

The Pendant Of Power is found in the Tower Of Hera. it is one of the legendary pendants needed to claim the Master Sword.

The Pendant of Wisdom is found in the House Of Gales. It is one of the legendary pendants needed to claim the Master Sword.

The Pendant Of Courage is given to you by Zelda in Hyrule castle, after the Yuga incident at the Sanctuary. It is one of the legendary pendants needed to claim the Master Sword.

Monster Guts are collectible items dropped by monsters. Bring them to the Witch and she will make you a Purple Potion. ( Attack Potion )

Monster Horns are collectible items dropped by monsters. Bring them to the Witch and she will make you a Yellow Potion. ( Invincibility Potion )

Monster Tails are collectible items dropped by monsters. Bring them to the Witch and she will make you a Blue Potion. ( Heart Restoring Potion )

Ravio's Bracelet - this magical piece of wristwear allows you to merge into walls. It is obtained once you go to the sanctuary to deliver the captains sword and get knocked out by Yuga. Ravio will take you to your house, which he thought was abandoned, and in return for you letting him stay at your house he gives you the bracelet.

The Titans Mitts can be found in the Desert Palace. These gloves allow you to pick up the HUGE rocks you should have seen on your journey by now.

The Stamina Scroll can be found in the Ice Ruins dungeon. this scroll increases the Stamina Gauge, allowing you to use Ravio's items for longer.

The Bee Badge is given to you by the Bee Guy in Kakariko Village after giving him a Golden Bee. This badge means that every bee you find in the wild automatically becomes your ally, and fights among you. A Golden Bee can be bought for 9,999 rupees in the shop west of turtle rock. you can also buy one off of a guy in a cave in the back of Skull Woods for 888 rupees. Or you can just cut all the bushes in the land and hope to find one.

The Pegasus Boots are given to you by the Shady Guy in Kakariko Village after he runs past you in Zora's Domain. merge into the wall to sneak behind him, then merge out of the wall to catch him. these boots allow you to dash super fast in one direction, similar to the ones from A Link To The Past.

The Power Mitts are given to you by Rosso, whose house is west of Death Mountain. These gloves allow you to pick up small rocks, and if you pick up and smash all the rocks outside his house he gives you 50 rupees

The Zora Flippers are given to you by Queen Oren after confronting the Shady Guy in Kakariko Village, and then buying the Smooth Stone from the merchant in the village. Return the Smooth Stone to Queen Oren for the Flippers.
