First off... I'm new here, still getting use to this forum so I apologize if there's already a thread for this or if I'm posting in the wrong section. This seemed like the right place at the time and I couldn't find any search function to look for older threads. Of course I also had trouble just finding the post new thread button. Please change the layout an use some more contrasting colors so the buttons actually stand out. Also I'm color blind so maybe that's just me but that button does not stand out at all against the background.

Anyway, getting to the real point of this thread. I was outside closer to the family with the Kangaskhan (I had already helped them find their son so he's no longer inside the Safari Zone.) when I last saved the game. However when I returned to the game I took a step forward and got the "you're out of time return to the gate" text as if I had been inside the Safari Zone which I wasn't. The thing is it's not letting me leave the gate. I try to exit the Safari Zone and the guy stops me as if I was going inside. My money is down to 0 which it should be a lot higher so weather I say yes or no he kicks me back out. As soon as I take a step towards the exit though that text comes up again and sends me back to the other side of the gate where I'm forced to talk to the guard again. I can simply walk into the Safari Zone without talking to that guard because for some reason I'm on the wrong side of the gate however I can only take one step and then back to the gate again. I've even tried stepping to the side rather than directly towards the door, one step in any direction and that text pops up sending me right back where I shouldn't be.

Why is this happening and how do I fix it? Is it even possible to fix it? Should I just give up on this hack? I can't really do anything with it right now and I don't really feel like starting over if I can't fix this.

I've moved this thread to the Pokemon forum from the ROM hacking forum as I feel it belongs there even though it is a question based around a hack. Besides I feel he is is more likely to find his answer in this forum due to the fact the ROM hacking forum gets very little activity and it is centered more around making hacks rather than simply talking about them as you'll notice if you are used to the board at all.

Ash_is_stupid : I must say I am impressed with your behavior about this manner, not everyone asks their questions in such a mature and organized manner. Seeing as you are new to the site feel free to ask me or any of the other mods if you have any questions about the site itself.

Frodlex : I've been on other forums with various user names over the years. Mostly for Transformers stuff so I have a pretty decent idea of how things work on forums in general. Though every forum tends to have slightly different rules and ways to deal with them plus the different layouts. Like I said this one is especially difficult for me to navigate as some of your buttons tend to blend in with the background. I'm more use to dealing with a plane white or black backgrounds rather than this mess of colors I can't even identify. My best guess would be it's blue and purple swirled together but I can't actually see blue it's just a lighter shade of purple. Maybe it's multiple shades of blue but I'm only seeing two colors swirled around.
