Easy question.  What do you like watching more, offense or defense?  Or you can answer which is more important.  I love defense and I love how defenses play.  It's the tougher job and they have to be reactive to what's going on on the field, on the rink, or whatever sport.

A good defense is definitely respectable, but a strong offense that yield results is always my favorite to watch. Defense is more important. If the other team never scores, you never lose.  So, when I watch TV I love seeing a strong offence, but if I'm ever in a game I focus more on strong defense.

I like Offense better because of the action it preserves. Yes defense is more challenging and I feel like they do have to know what they are doing or they will be a fail defense.. of course you still see action with Defense but I guess you could say that I like them both even though I do like offense better.

I prefer watching a good offense. Watching a team that can work together and pick apart the best defenses is incredible. But a good defense is probably a little more important. It helps limit the other team, and let you control the pace of a game.

As for what I like playing, I've only really ever played hockey which kinda forces you to play both offense and defense. But I liked playing as a forward so I could crash the net and be right in the action (plus I don't have much of a slap shot, so it's tough to do much from the point).

I think as a sport team you need to have both. Me personally I'm a fan of Offense. I guess that is because my favorite teams are more known for their offense. For example, The Colorado Rockies are known to hit a bunch of home runs. When I see a lot of their games usually home runs will be hit. The Cincinnati Reds are another offensive team as they hit home runs in bunches. Toronto Blue Jays also hit a lot of home runs. However, a defensive team that comes to mind and they won 2 World Series in 3 years that I like is the Giants.

It depends on which sport I am watching.

I really love watching Offense with football. I love watching 50 + yard passing TD's and long TD runs. Those are always pretty amazing. It is pretty cool to see a sack strip though. I watch the Colts a lot and we have Robert Mathis who did that a number of times this year including to Peyton Manning.

I would say with Basketball I like watching Defense more. I am a Pacers fan and I love seeing Roy Hibbert block a shot into the stands or watching one of the guys deflect a 3 pointer.
