-30 Celsius or so is what I remember ever encountering. What is that  on the Fahrenheit scale? This was in my childhood when I lived more up north and the few times I went up there to visit people. -20 was the usual wintertime average but not these days even up there. And there were not these "snow days" ever in my school years. You still went to school no matter what.

I hear it gets incredibly cold in the prairies because of the lack of mountains. Since I'm in a valley surrounded by them, the coldest I can remember is about -25 degrees celsius. Maybe colder. All I remember is that Halloween always looked more like Parka Day XD.

It gets incredibly cold here in the winter. This last one it was around -30 degrees (-34 Celsius) for a entire month! But sadly, very little snow. But I did stay warm and toasty with my video games!

I'm no longer having any cold temperatures in my area. The temperature was about 60 degrees Fahrenheit today. I really love the spring. I'm glad the winter is gone.

I don't remember what the coldest temperature here in Birmingham was this year, though I want to say around 20 degree Fahrenheit, which honestly isn't all that bad.

However, I used to live in Alaska.  It was a long time ago... so again... I can't say for sure what the lowest temperature was that we endured. However, seeing as though we lived there for six years, I'm sure it probably got to at LEAST negative ten degrees Fahrenheit at some point.
