Yes I do think it should be free.. my cousin spends tons of money on it a year for what because they are greedy? Maybe a bit selfish.. I wish for PS3 it would also be free and you could play any games you wanted to.. Sony makes so much a year and yet they add extra charges to a system that is awesome.. I guess they are winning.

I have heard both sides, and while I agree that it would be much more convenient to have a free service, the fact that it's paid might be a sign that it uses a lot of funds on improving the experience. Wii online is decent, but I've seen many hackers. If paid LIVE is less easy to manipulate through hacking, then it may be worth the expenditure.

Before they introduced the free game deal, I would have definitely said yes. Now, I'm not completely sure about it. On one hand it would be easier to get in. On the other, there would be loads of hacks because it's free.
