Have any memorable stories of past Christmases? Why not share them? Christmas was four days ago, but still. I thought it would be good enough to post this.

One Christmas, I was 13. We went down to open our presents, and our grandmother was with us. It was my turn to open my next present. I'd been wanting Secret of Mana for a long time. I opened my present and saw an iPhone from grandma.....here's how I reacted.

"Grandma..."

"Yes, dear?"

"You did...get the game, didn't you?"

"Well, I thought you were too old for those games. I thought you would like this..."

"Oh...I see....WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"


I got over my rage and we got the game, but that still haunts me. I trashed the phone. I'm not interested in Apple and the latest technology.

Last year had been my favorite Christmas, though I did not spend it with anybody. I woke up in the morning and unwrapped my new DSI and Pokemon Black 2. Then, I hopped on the train and went to downtown Manhattan. The place was beautiful with all the decorations. Next, I crossed the Brooklyn Bridge and took pictures of the skyline before heading back home.
