I haven't looked into the release too much (I just saw that it came out in fact), but it's just been added to Steam for $30. The release kind of blindsided me. I've been following the news on it somewhat closely, and it didn't seem like there would be anything available for some time.

Honestly, I'm tempted to grab it right now, but I'm gonna check out some gameplay footage on Youtube first (once I'm done playing Starbound probably). Anyone else interested in picking this up?

Yeah the release came out of the blue! One day nothing, next day BAM here it is! I was real, real worried about the stand alone. I mean, it's nearly a year late! And in that time a ton of copycat games have come out! But as of this week it has sold over a million copies! That's astounding for any game let alone a indie release.
