Greatest Video Game Weapon Ever?

Couple of weeks ago on TV I saw a quick comparison between the Doom series BFG and the Halo series Spartan Laser and whilst Dooms BFG won that I'm not sure if it's a worthy winner as I have never played the Halo series but can either of them really claim to be the greatest weapon ever? Even if less powerful is there a weapon that once you have it you never want to lose it again or does it have a long history with your favorite game franchise? Whatever the reason I'm sure we all have at least one favorite weapon and it doesn't have to be gun it can be anything swords guns explosives anything you can think of even if it has used by only one character like Doom Guys BFG or Final Fantasy VII Clouds Buster Sword anything of any kind you can think of

When I think about it there's an even better gun in Halo 2. If you rocket jump, on the mission with the scarab, to this super high area there's a scarab gun that just shoots out a pure energy beam.

I think its the Baseball bat in Super smash bros. Its all like you have no damage done to you let me hit you out of the pack in one hit. It beats the laser guns any day because you don't need to aim its just like kapoow
