This thread is for if your PC is blocked by the police and you gotta pay $100,00. Don't pay that! This is not the police. These are just hackers. To get rid of the message, they say you gotta pay alot of money. But if you pay that, it won't go away. Many people say you need to ?open the computer in safe mode and find the source. But man F$#@ that what you gotta do (only for windows 7 users) is open start, click shut down. Have Skype ?open, then, it will close your browser but it says: 1 application must be closed. Than click cancel and you can again surf free on the web. If that didn't work, then ?i don't know. It worked for me.

EDIT: Before you close the pc, have skype open.

super0mariofan0 : What you are talking about is a common trojan virus. A half way decent anti-virus software program should remove it. Other than that the only way to really get around the problem is to re-install windows.

Otherwise it's damaging windows/your hard drive for as long as you let it stay on your PC. Feel free to Google further information regarding removing this damaging trojan virus. Doing what you are explaining may let you surf the web, but it's ignoring what the actual problem is.
