We've received several applications from people wanting to write articles regularly, which is awesome. However, while we wait for those people to accrue materials and write their first articles, we've also received a lot of requests from people interested in simply posting one or two educations articles.

Well, the other mods and I are very excited about this idea, and so we have responded with a resounding yes!

If you are interested in sharing your knowledge or expertise about a topic or two... but you're not interested in writing more frequently... please don't shy away!  We are now opening a gate for para-teachers.  As a para-teacher, you will still need to pre-submit your article to us for a quality check, but you don't have to follow the same rigorous application as those who want to write regularly. Instead, here are our expectations if you fall into this category:

Expectation 1: You will not claim to know everything on the topic, but you will care enough about the topic to answer questions. If a question is asked which you can not answer, you will do your best to find a reputable answer and cite your sources.

Expectation 2 Your article will be courteous and professional. You will follow all site rules, and you will not plagiarize.

Expectation 3: You will put time and effort into your article. It will be well written, informed, and organized.

Finally, give us a copy of your article. Submit this with the application. The mods of this forum will then review your submission and take a vote. We will let you know if you were accepted at our earliest convenience.
